Is a native of Asheville, NC moving to the Swansboro area in 1995, attracted to the beach and the unique history of the N.C. coast. She has an B.A. in History from UNC-A and a M.A, from UNC-Wilmington. She is currently employed at Beaufort Historic Site in the Visitor’s Center. Cyndi has been an active member and officer with the Swansboro Historical Association for many years and is dedicated to the mission of the Association to create a Heritage Center.
